Graduate Students

How do I apply?

Graduate students in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science are admitted through the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research.

Before applying for Graduate Studies, you should ensure that you qualify for admission by reviewing the admission requirements at the University's main Graduate Studies Admissions page (see minimum standards of admission).

For information on application to Graduate Studies in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, see the Engineering page on the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research Website. Specific application requirements and courses offered are provided on this page as well.

Finding a graduate supervisor

Graduate students need to conduct their studies and research under the supervision of a Graduate Supervisor who is an accredited faculty member in the program area of study. You should review the programs offered and Faculty Research Areas to identify a specific area of research that you are interested in and to identify those Faculty members interested in that area who may be able to serve as your supervisor. You may contact the faculty member directly about potential supervision or contact the Graduate Chair for the program in which you are interested for more information (see Faculty and Staff Directory).
