Fourth-Year Project Day

Project Day, held every year in April, is a 1-day public trade show wherein teams of 4th-year students display and present their 4th-year projects. The presentations are adjudicated by members of the faculty and industry guests.

Regina Engineering Students' Society

Year 1-4

An annual social event sponsored by the RESS.  This event introduces first year students to senior students and professionals in the engineering field.  It is usually held in the Fall semester.

Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race

An annual event in which teams of engineering students from schools across Canada (and some international teams) build concrete toboggans and compete in a downhill race hosted by different schools across the country each year. Contact Dr. David deMontigny for details in how to join the team.

Cougar Racing

Cougar Racing is the University of Regina’s collegiate chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers International (SAE).  The Cougar Racing team competes in Collegiate SAE events, including the 2011 Baja competition in Peoria, Illinois.

Western Engineering Competition

An annual student engineering competition hosted by a different Western Canadian university each year.  See the RESS website for more details.
