Wind power is being harnessed and converted to electrical power at the University of Regina.

The U of R and Innovation Place installed a 3.5kW Cleanfield Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) on the penthouse roof of 2 Research Drive on Global Wind Day, June 15, 2010.
