Faculty Name Change

The Faculty of Engineering is now the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science.  We feel the new name more closely reflects both the teaching and research of the Faculty. This name is consistent with many other universities, and the name extension will better reflect the academic mandate of the Faculty.

Effective as of the 2009 Spring/Summer term, all engineering students will be in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. Those students graduating in June will be graduating from the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. The degree remains the same, as do all five majors.
