Humanities Elective: According to the 2006/07 UR Undergraduate Calendar, program curriculum has been revised to include an approved humanities elective. All students should refer to this calendar for the sequencing of this humanities elective. For the 2007 Spring/Summer semester, EVSE and ISE majors in semester 4 will be required to take an approved humanities elective. PSE majors will be required to take it in semester 7. Others will be required to take later on in the program.

Please note: All the ADMN undergraduate courses have been changed to BUS courses (e.g.: ADMN 260 to BUS 260). To view the class schedule listings in the UR Self-Service webpage, please select “Business” instead of “Administration”.

MATH courses listed in the 2005/2006 U of R Undergraduate Calendar are different than the program requirements listed in the 2004/2005 Undergraduate Calendar. All students, with the exception of the first year students starting in 2005'Fall, must complete the required math courses as listed in the 2004/2005 Undergraduate Calendar. Please be advised that you must complete the math courses as quickly as possible, MATH 212 has its final offering in Summer 2006 while MATH 215 has its final offering in Fall 2006. Failure to complete all math courses as required in the 2004/2005 Undergraduate Calendar may result in the completion of additional math courses

For the 2007 Winter semester, ENEL 496AM, Electric Energy Systems Design is an approved technical elective. The course description is as follows: A survey of electric energy systems; plant level design; small scale generation; two design projects involving electric power components.

Effective 200620, for students in semester 6, ENIN 350 will be a core course and no longer an elective. This curriculum change is due to accreditation requirements. ENIN 350 has been scheduled so that it is conflict free for the regular semester 6 time table.
